Crazy Horse: The legendary Parisian Cabaret brings its 75-Year legacy to Dubai

The legendary Crazy Horse Paris has made its highly anticipated Middle East debut with The Dubai Edition, a permanent show created specifically for the city. Reimagined with sensitivity to regional culture and customs, the production remains deeply rooted in the artistic codes and creative heritage that have defined the iconic Parisian cabaret for more than 75 years.

Founded in 1951 by French avant-garde artist and entrepreneur Alain Bernardin, Crazy Horse Paris first opened its doors at the prestigious 12 Avenue George V. Since then, it has developed a distinctive visual language built around meticulously choreographed tableaux, in which the dancers’ silhouettes interact with precisely orchestrated lighting, graphic projections, optical illusions and original music. At the heart of every performance are the dancers themselves, the true stars of Crazy Horse Paris whose confidence, individuality and artistic expression captivate audiences.

Today, Crazy Horse Paris is synonymous with Parisian glamour, allure and savoir-faire. Its enduring appeal lies in a distinctive creative vision and a rich tradition of collaboration with some of the world’s most celebrated choreographers, artists and designers. Over the years, the cabaret has worked with an impressive roster of creative talents, including Beyoncé, Christian Louboutin, Jean Paul Gaultier, Elie Saab, Dita Von Teese and Lisa from BLACKPINK, each contributing to the House’s unmistakable identity.

Under the artistic direction of Andrée Deissenberg, Chief Creative and Brand Officer of Crazy Horse Paris, The Dubai Edition offers an immersive interpretation of the cabaret’s celebrated universe. At its centre is an international cast of eighteen dancers, selected from hundreds of applicants worldwide and brought together in Paris for six months of intensive specialised training. Their precision, individuality and stage presence define the production, bringing the unmistakable artistic identity of Crazy Horse Paris to a show conceived exclusively for Dubai.

Set within an intimate 200-seat cabaret at Zabeel Theatre, Jumeirah Zabeel Saray, the production introduces the legendary Parisian experience to a city celebrated for its energy, sophistication and international outlook. It is the only permanent Crazy Horse Paris show outside the French capital and is brought to Dubai and operated by 111 Management, a Dubai-based hospitality group specialising in F&B operations, investment, concept development and brand growth.

“With The Dubai Edition, our objective was to create a show that is immediately identifiable as Crazy Horse Paris while developing a production specifically conceived for Dubai. It draws on our artistic heritage, visual language and creative precision, while introducing new elements adapted to the venue and its audience,” explains Andrée Deissenberg.

The Dubai Edition is presented in two distinct formats, offering guests different ways to experience the world of Crazy Horse Paris. The Show is a 90-minute performance combining iconic tableaux, exceptional dancers, a DJ and a charismatic Master of Ceremonies. For a more immersive evening, The Show & Dinner unfolds over approximately three hours, pairing the performance with fine dining, caviar and signature beverages. Following the final tableau, the experience continues with a DJ set, extending the energy and distinctive atmosphere of the cabaret into the night.

With its permanent Dubai home, Crazy Horse Paris has opened a new chapter in its remarkable history, bringing together more than seven decades of Parisian artistic heritage and a fresh creative vision shaped for the Middle East. The result is an experience that feels distinctly of Dubai while remaining unmistakably Crazy Horse.
