Etihad Aviation Group and Partners boost financing platform strategy to US$1.2 Billion

Etihad Airways, Etihad Airport Services, airberlin, Air Serbia, Air Seychelles and Alitalia have successfully raised a further US$500 million in a second platform financing transaction, following the success of last year’s award-winning bond which raised US$700 million. 

A roadshow was announced on Monday 16 May 2016 to a positive response from the international financial community, followed by the official launch of the transaction a week later on Monday 23 May 2016.

12 foot high waves and strong winds predicted for next 48 hours

If you are planning to visit the beach either today Wednesday or tomorrow, it may be wiser to postpone your plans to another day, as the UAE has issued a sea alert warning rough seas and waves rising to 12 feet or more.

Ramadan 2016 working hours for private sector in the UAE announced

Private sector employees in the UAE will have their working days reduced by two hours during Ramadan.

The announcement was made via a statement from the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources issued by Saqr Ghobash, Minister of Human Resources and Emiratisation.

The holy month of fasting is expected to begin on June 6 subject to the moon sighting.
