Leading air services provider awarded Best Independent Airport Lounge by SkyTrax
Wednesday, June 17, 2015 — Dubai and Singapore— Travellers from around the world have spoken. The dnata Lounge in Terminal 3 of Singapore’s Changi International airport has been awarded the World’s Best Independent Airport Lounge at the SkyTrax 2015 World Airline Awards in Paris.
SkyTrax polls over 18 million business and leisure air travellers from more than 160 countries to determine the winners of its prestigious World Airline Awards. The award was collected by Mark Edwards, CEO, dnata Singapore.
“Our team at Changi work tirelessly to ensure each passenger who comes through our doors feels at home. They are the reason travellers voted our lounge at Changi the world’s best,” said Mark Edwards. “This is an incredible honour, and is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our people.”
Open to passengers of all customer airlines, the dnata lounge at Changi welcomes over 90,000 passengers a year. Providing travellers with a quiet break from their itineraries, and open 24-hours a day, the lounge offers passengers a premium experience before boarding their flight.

This is dnata’s second major award this year for its airport operations division. dnata was recognised as global Ground Handler of the Year at the Air Cargo News Cargo Airline of the Year awards in London.
The dnata Lounge at Changi is one of 13 lounges across eight airports the air services provider operates around the globe. Passengers accessing the dnata Lounge at Changi International airport will find an international selection of food, a range of beverages, televisions, newspapers and business centres with everything needed to ensure comfort and productivity.
