New Saudi high-speed train service set to launch on Sept 24

Saudi Arabia's Haramain high-speed train service will reportedly start commercial operations on September 24.

All the carriages are ready for the operation after the successful completion of trial runs, local media reported.

It said railway stations in Makkah, Madinah and Rabigh are fully furnished while finishing touches are being finalised in Jeddah station.

The European Central Bank (ECB) 17 September unveiled the new €100 and €200 banknotes, which will enter into circulation on 28 May 2019. After the €5, €10, €20 and €50, the €100 and €200 banknotes are the last two denominations of the Europa series, and therefore mark its completion.

Art Dubai, the emirate’s annual art fair, said it has ended its decade-long sponsorship agreement with Abraaj Group, as the private equity firm continues to unravel following allegations of funds mismanagement earlier this year.
