U.S. President Donald Trump and North Korea's Kim Jong-un concluded an extraordinary nuclear summit Tuesday with the U.S. president pledging unspecified "security guarantees" to the North and Kim recommitting to the "complete denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula."

A $2.5 billion aid package for Jordan has been agreed by the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Kuwait at a summit in Makkah.
The agreement includes a direct payment to the Jordanian central bank, as well as the three nations acting as guarantors to the World Bank on Jordan's behalf.
Development projects in Jordan will be financed by the donor nations over the five-year deal.

The UAE's Ministry of Climate Change and Environment (MoCCAE) has signed an agreement to cultivate the largest coral reef garden in the world along the coast of Fujairah.
The memorandum of understanding with the Fujairah Centre for Adventures will create the garden, expected to set a Guinness World Record, and provide a haven for biodiversity to sustain and rehabilitate ecosystems in the UAE.

A new Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (Mers-CoV) virus patient has been confirmed in the UAE, according to World Health Organization.
