President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan has declared 2021 'Year of the 50th', as the nation celebrates its milestone Golden Jubilee.

Year of the 50th officially starts on April 6th 2021 and lasts until March 31st 2022.

Dubai approves 10-week interval between 1st and 2nd dose of Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine for COVID-19

The Dubai Health Authority (DHA) said that there would be a 10-week interval between the 1st and 2nd dose of the Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine for COVID-19.

The DHA revealed this on its social media platforms, "Recent studies from the University of Oxford on the Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine showed a higher efficacy and higher acquired immunity when the interval between the first and second dose was increased".

Abu Dhabi announces updated list of 'Green List' destinations

The Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi) has issued the updated list of ‘Green List’ destinations. Passengers arriving from these destinations will be exempt from mandatory quarantine measures after landing in Abu Dhabi and will only be required to undergo PCR testing upon arrival at Abu Dhabi Airport.

The UAE's Hope Probe has successfully entered orbit around Mars

The United Arab Emirates' first mission to Mars arrived at the red planet on Tuesday and successfully entered orbit on its first attempt.

The Emirates Mars Mission, known as the Hope Probe, sent back a signal confirming it's in orbit.
