DKNY opens its 8th shop in The Dubai Mall
Donna Karan New York announces the opening of its 8th shop in the UAE which is located in the Dubai Mall. The opening event carried elements of a New York street scene complete with a uniformed cop, street cones and signs indicating Madison on 60th which is the address of DKNY in Manhattan. Also, rovers were present snapping pictures of the guests just as a mob of 12 models walked through the mall holding DKNY signs. The buzz was unbeatable.
Like all DKNY Boutiques world wide, it is designed by the Bonetti/ Kozerski Studio from New York who are the only authorized designer for all DKNY shops worldwide. The store stands at the space of 2,459 sq/ft in Dubai Mall and follows the latest DKNY shop concept. The Concept of DKNY shops changes periodically every 2 to 3 years. The current and latest design which is featured in Dubai Mall is actually incomplete and will feature a huge seamless LCD screen which will add a new dimension to the shop once installed in a few weeks.
This New shop is one of the 8 DKNY shops in the UAE which are located as follows; Mall of the Emirates, Burjuman, Dubai Festival city, Midriff City Centre, Abu Dhabi Marina Mall and Dubai Mall, in addition to two DKNY jeans stores in Deira City centre and at The Grove in Dubai Mall.
