Tashkent hosts Uzbek-Emirati business forum

Following the business forum, a number of bilateral documents in the areas of commercial and housing construction, renewable energy and investment cooperation were signed, as well as B2B negotiations were held.

October 3 saw an Uzbek-Emirati business forum in Tashkent as part of the visit of a delegation of foreign entrepreneurs headed by Ibrahim al-Mahmud, Deputy Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the United Arab Emirates. The event was organized by the State Investment Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The delegation of the UAE Chamber of Commerce and Industry was comprised of representatives of such companies as "VPS Healthcare", "Vision Investment Services Co", "International Holdings Company PJSC" and others specializing in education, health, information technology, investment, agriculture and fishing, production of building materials, banking sector. Members of the Board of Directors of the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and the UAE Council of business women were also represented in the delegation.
