Azerbaijan’s National Day celebrations in UAE

Report on the official reception marking Azerbaijan’s National Day organized by the Embassy of Azerbaijan in the UAE at Abu Dhabi’s luxury hotel Emirates Palace

On the occasion of the National Day of the Republic of Azerbaijan, celebrated annually on May 28^th, the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in United Arab Emirates, organized last May 27, 2012 an official reception at Emirates Palace, the luxury hotel in Abu Dhabi.

The main guests at the ceremony were Minister for Social Affairs of the United Arab Emirates, Maryam Mohammed Khalfan Al Roumi, member of the ruling family of Abu Dhabi His Highness Sheikh Ahmed Bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, Deputy Economy Minister Mohammed bin Abdul Aziz Al Shihni, representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the UAE and other public agencies, ambassadors accredited in the country, prominent representatives of international organizations and prominent political, economic, and social circles of the UAE, the media, citizens of Azerbaijan and Azerbaijani students living and studying in the UAE. At the party, Chamber Orchestra of Baku Music Academy also took an active part, presenting a broad and comprehensive concert program consisting of the pearls of Azerbaijani classical music, and captured all the guests’ attention.
