The session focused on practicing Sukshma Vyayama, a group of asanas to help loosen up the joints of the body and eliminating energy blockages developed due to sitting too long at a desk or from prolonged typing. Practice of these asanas induce peace, balance and one pointedness bringing harmony to the body and mind and also assisting the participants to deal with stressful situations in all aspects of work and life.

Moussa El Hayek, Chief Operating Officer of Al Bustan Centre and Residence, said: “The beauty of yoga is that you don’t have to be a certified individual to reap the benefits. In this fast paced world, we are all faced with various choices to make which may sometimes be stressful. A stressful mind definitely affects our health, happiness, focus, creativity and energy.  Our aim to host this session for the employees was to provide them an opportunity to achieve a higher quality of life and to build a strong and connected company culture. We have received an amazing feedback from the team on how the session helped them feeling more focused, alert and relaxed in all parts of their life.”

Practicing yoga and meditation is proven to be beneficial for building strength, reducing stress, improving focus and flexibility, enhancing mood and making positive changes to our mind and body.
