Charlotte Olympia opens store in Dubai
British luxury shoes & accessories brand, Charlotte Olympia is pleased to announce the opening of its first store in the Middle East at the Mall of the Emirates, Dubai. Laid out over 683 square feet, the it perfectly encapsulates the spirit of the brand and is inspired by the bygone era of old Hollywood glamour. An extended rectangular showcase window and a signature gold spider web spanning the entrance offer an invitation to passers-by to step into the world of Charlotte's Web. Set against the distinctive backdrop of brass panelling and a dazzling mirrored wall, the shoe and handbag collections make an eye-catching display. Charlotte Olympia designs have become synonymous with classic sophistication and meticulous attention to detail. Iconic styles such as the Dolly with its signature ‘island’ platform,the Kitty flats and perspex Pandora clutch box will be offered alongside a capsule collection designed exclusively for the new store. All designs are handcrafted in Italy using only the finest materials and each shoe is finished with a signature gold spider’s web on the sole. CHANEL Boutique Opens in Dubai Terminal 3A
In late July 2014, CHANEL reinforced its presence in Dubai with the opening of a new boutique in Terminal 3A of Dubai International Airport, easily accessible to all international out-bound and transit passengers and open 24 hours a day. Like all CHANEL boutiques across the globe, the new 209 square meters boutique is designed by New York-based architect Peter Marino, fully expressing the Parisian elegance and the timeless modernity dear to CHANEL. Two entrances provide access to the boutique which harmoniously celebrates the icons and great creativity of CHANEL through six collections designed by Karl Lagerfeld each year.
Upon entering through the impactful and distinctive marble façade of the main entrance, clients are greeted by a well-lit space dedicated to the world of accessories where pure lines are explored in an array of precious materials; walls covered in white rock crystals, textured gold adorned panels and floors made of cool marble. Adjoining this accessories area is a space offering CHANEL 's iconic handbags as well as the season’s new arrivals while a watch section proposes an edited selection of timeless pieces of the House. The fitting room is decorated with the artwork by Peter Dayton, “Camellia” that evokes the favourite flower of Mademoiselle Chanel. This bright, modern and sophisticated boutique expresses the utmost of CHANEL's creativity, ensuring a unique privileged shopping experience in Dubai airport.
