Art Exhibition ‘Unbound Territories’ to Open at Foundry Downtown Dubai

A+ Art Consultancy has announced details of their inaugural exhibition, Unbound Territories, which will take place in collaboration with London-based Gillian Jason Gallery at Foundry Downtown Dubai from 10 April 2025. Connecting international artists, institutions, and collectors with the region’s evolving cultural landscape, A+ Art Consultancy is spearheaded by Azra Aban, an art consultant dedicated to fostering cross-cultural connections in the contemporary art world.

Bringing together an all-women lineup, Unbound Territories stands as testament to the power and diversity of female artistic expression, featuring artists such as Megan Baker, Pippa El-Kadhi Brown, Bridget Riley, and Louise Bourgeois in a dialogue that transcends time, demonstrating the breadth and depth of artistic innovation by women. The exhibition will serve as a platform to introduce several of the participating artists to the region for the first time, reinforcing the growing cultural dialogue between the UAE and the global art scene.

Unbound Territories showcases the creative force of women across generations, geographies, and artistic media, highlighting both emerging and established voices. Across sculpture, printmaking, oil painting, painted photography, and works on paper, the show reveals the radical potential of materiality and form. Each work - whether meticulously structured or intuitively expressive - challenges the viewer’s expectations, offering new ways of seeing and understanding the world.
