In a colorful and memorable journey back to the 1970’s, Bloomingdale’s – Dubai presented its Spring Summer 2011 fashion selection at a fashion show staged at the Fashion Catwalk, The Dubai Mall on Tuesday, March 15th, 2011. Guests were invited to “get their groove on” as the DJ played a series of upbeat dance tracks, and were treated to an acrobatic display as the Bloomingdale’s signature black and white chequered catwalk was raised in preparation for the start of the show.
Over one hundred looks beginning with cool and fresh whites, nudes and flesh colours, moving on to nautical stripes and floral prints, and finally colour blocking were showcased. Make-up was provided by Lancome, with their regional make-up artist Eman Al Haj on hand to perfect the vibrant looks.
