CHANEL presents N°5 L’EAU, the new interpretation of its iconic fragrance, imagined by Olivier Polge, CHANEL’s in house perfumer, in collaboration with the Fragrance Laboratory.
While upholding its heritage, this thoroughly modern composition brings to N°5 a new olfactory balance made of perfect freshness.
“Its freshness is essential, which is why we named it N°5 L’EAU,” explains Olivier Polge, who reinvented N°5 with evanescent citrus aldehyde top notes, a floral heart of greener jasmine and ylang-ylang swirled into rose, ending on more nervous cedar and vetiver woody notes.
Never has N°5 revealed such a fresh and dynamic facet. Like its legendary bottle, the crystalline transparency of the fragrance within expresses all the purity of its composition.
