Cyclists from Turkmenistan held a training camp in the UAE
In preparation for the V Asian Indoors and Martial Arts Games, the national cycling team of Turkmenistan held training camp in the United Arab Emirates.
During the period of 15-23 February 2017, at the invitation of the UAE Cycling Federation and with the assistance of the Embassy of Turkmenistan, Turkmenistan national cycling team held training camp in the Emirate of Sharjah.
Athletes under the guidance of a worldwide recognized well experienced coach from Russian Albert Kolybin, practiced and honed skills of driving on the highway in order to achieve high results.
Place and time of training camps is not chosen by chance. Cyclist from Turkmenistan will participate in the Asian Cycling Championships, which will begin on February 24 in the capital of Bahrain, Manama. Camping in the UAE provided the athletes the opportunity to train in conditions similar to those that will be in Bahrain.
