Guerlain, so frenchy!

Whether he is sitting on a café terrace snuggling with his loved-one, dressed in a beige trench coat, white T-shirt, raw denim jeans and a pair of worn-in ruby-coloured leather moccasins, or racing through the streets on his motorcycle in a navy blue suit with a red cashmere crewneck jumper and white trainers, this man never says no to pleasure.

At once an athlete and an aesthete, seductive and relaxed, urban and eco-friendly, chic but never stuffy, virile and sensitive, this multifaceted man is the new hero of the 21st-century. But who is he? He is the Frenchman, of course! “The Frenchy,” as Anglo-Saxons like to call him, smitten by his bold elegance and natural charm.

Le Frenchy, the new 21st-century “Verveine” by Guerlain, echoes those that punctuated the Perfumer’s history. First, the 19th-century creation by Aimé Guerlain circa 1872, followed by the 20th-century Eau de Verveine by Jean-Paul Guerlain
in 1983. And now Le Frenchy, dreamed up by Thierry Wasser, Guerlain’s master perfumer. It reveals a woody, aromatic and citrusy essence that reflects the dynamic, spirited and elegant personality of this dear Frenchy. Thierry Wasser danced around
bergamot, observed and even teased it a little. Refreshed with a lively and piquant flight of lemon, verbena and petit grain, recalling the casual yet chic allure of the Frenchy, it then swells into an aromatic heart constructed around sage, precious neroli and fragrant lavender, evoking the controlled virility of this 2.0 hero. Slowly, the composition’s base sparks into a flame with the subtle blend of vetiver, tonka bean and ambergris, like a nod to the seduction of these new urbanites.

A box with a leather feel, embossed in tone-on-tone with a sun motif, the eternal symbol of Guerlain. Playing with the oh-so-French blue, white and red codes, the brilliant blue liquid lights up the deep red of the frame and wooden cap. For the ultimate touch of refinement, the name of the fragrance, doubled as if by magic, is silk-screened in blue and white on the red wood.

Creations designed for those who love rare fragrances and admire noble raw materials and elegance down to the last detail, Les Parisiens are exclusive reissues of fragrances that built the history of Guerlain. True perfumery treasures with
delightful and evocative names, such as Arsène Lupin, Chamade, and Derby...
