"The design of our national pavilion was inspired by the wings of the falcon that provides shelter and protection to those who are under its wings, which symbolises the UAE’s vision to be the home of more than 200 countries," he added.
"In line with the UAE’s approach to be open with the world, Expo 2020 Dubai seeks to bring the world together as the location of the event and the UAE’s national pavilion, in particular, are dedicated to encouraging communication," he said.
Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum welcomed the minister’s visit, saying, "Our strong country will celebrate its 50th anniversary during Expo 2020 Dubai. Establishing a modern country, which is the home to different nationalities, is an amazing example and a source of inspiration. The story of the UAE will be held under the theme Connecting Minds, Creating the Future," he said.
"The UAE pavilion reflects the pioneering position of the country in the field of sustainability as it will be one of the most innovatively designed sustainable buildings in the expo. It will also mark the occasion to celebrate the UAE’s achievements in terms of the three main themes of the exhibition - opportunity, mobility and sustainability - presenting a great model for progress, development and achievement," Al Jaber said.
