Mansour bin Zayed receives Armenian President

(WAM): Serzh Sargsyan, President of the Republic of Armenia, arrived in the country this evening, accompanied by his delegation and was received upon his arrival at the presidential airport by H.H. Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs.

His Highness welcomed the guest while the band of the Honour Guard played in honour of President Sargsyan’s visit.

His Highness welcomed President Sargsyan and his accompanying delegation during a short break in the visitors’ hall where they exchanged a few words. His Highness also hoped the guest would have a successful visit which would achieve its goals, to serve the common interests of the friendly countries and peoples.

During the meeting, the ties of co-operation and friendship were demonstrated, as well as the means to develop and strengthen them in different areas.

The reception was also attended by Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansouri, Minister of Economy and the President of the Honour delegation that accompanied President Sargsyan, and Dr. Jassim Mohammed Al Qasimi, UAE Ambassador to Armenia, and Gegham Gharibjanian, Armenian Ambassador to the country.
