DENIM

We’re throwing the “rule book” out the window that claims you can only wear dark colored jeans in the fall and winter. We weren’t great following rules anyway.  But, since it’s spring, light washed denim looks great if you’re heading to the office or out on that date you’ve been nervously waiting to go on.  And sometimes an event requires something darker.  We’ve got you covered there too.  The only rule we do try to follow is that your jeans should fit…and fit well.  Toss out anything you have that’s labeled anything like:  baggy, boxy, extra relaxed.  And toss out anything that Kris Kross sported in 1991.  You know the ones.  We’re not saying you need to go the skinny route (but go for it if you can), but slim-to-straight-legged is a fit you usually can’t go wrong with.

FLORAL PRINT

Floral prints are a key component to this season’s trends. Used to breathe a new life into menswear staples, designers have manipulated floral prints for a vast spectrum of uses that take the delicate element from subtle to bold. Enlisted for a wardrobe update at large, floral prints decorate everything from tailored suits and relaxed shirting to must-have jackets.
