Al Bustan Centre & Residence pledges to take action on and beyond ‘Earth Hour’

Al Bustan Centre & Residence, the popular hotel-apartment among tourists and businessmen in the heart of Dubai, participated in Earth hour’s 12^th anniversary on Saturday, March 30^th 2019 and pledged to continue their support by initiating actions beyond the ‘Earth Hour’ to deliver real, tangible environmental outcomes.

The property switched off all the non-essential lighting and appliances at 08:30 pm for one hour to protect future generations from the impacts of climate change and the employees including staff and the senior management signed a pledge board to implement concrete steps in protecting the planet every day of the year.

The property also organized a fun activity for the guests and visitors to participate and showcase their commitment to create a lasting impact. Participants were challenged to draw something from scratch in the dark and once the lights were on, each participant showcased their artwork while others giggled and shared ‘can’t-believe-you-drew-that’ face.
