Millennium Hotel & Convention Centre - Kuwait participates in Earth Hour 2019

Millennium Hotel & Convention Center – Kuwait, joined millions of people and business organizations across the globe and supported the Earth Hour in raising awareness to protect the environment and take action on mitigating climate change.

The property supported the initiative on Saturday, March 30^th 2019 at 08:30 pm local time with a 60 minute energy saving action by turning off its external façade lights and non-essential lights in public areas and restaurants and also minimized the usage of non-essential appliances.

Guests at the property were encouraged to reduce energy usage and participate in the initiative by gathering at the assembly point for a candle-lighting process, naturally illuminating the property premises.

Ahmed Serafi, General Manager of Millennium Hotel & Convention Centre Kuwait stated, “Our participation during the Earth Hour is one of the ways to showcase our commitment to energy conservation. Now it is the time to take action on climate change, more than ever.
