Ahmedia Heritage Guesthouse, located in the heart of Al Ras Deira heritage area, is hosting an exhibition for a group of 25 artists to raise awareness about the importance of preserving the nature around us.
Held from 16 to 28 November, “Seeking Serenity” exhibition features various artworks by artists from 12 countries. The exhibition is organized by Art4youGallery and curated by Jesno Jackson with Dr Hamed Bin Mohamed Khalifa Al Suwaidi, Chairman of Abu Dhabi Arts Society as the chief guest, Najat Makki, pioneer Emirati artist, as the guest of honour and other special guests.
Habib Khan, General Manager of Heritage Collection and CEO of Planet Hospitality said: “Ahmedia Heritage Guesthouse is delighted to host “Seeking Serenity” that features a group of artworks by artists of various backgrounds. Each artist has explored the exhibition’s theme in his own way and we hope that viewers will be enthralled by this dynamic array of artwork.”

The exhibition aims to help artists get exposure for their nature-inspired art and explore more ways to express their concerns about the environment.”
“When a person makes a connection with the beauty of nature and feels some peace, a connection is made to the soul and in that connection a serenity takes place. When an artist is able, through painting or any other medium, to depict that beauty he can also experience a deep connection with the inner part of us that is connected to all things and this will lead to a profound feeling of serenity”, added Jesno Jackson, the exhibition curator.
