Harvey Nichols-Dubai Secret Garden Show SS2015

Another year, another spectacular show put together by Harvey Nichols Dubai. This year's theme for their SS 2015 preview was "Secret Garden", giving it an extremely Alice in Wonderland touch whilst entering the main arena before the show. It's safe to say that we can definitely expect to see a great variety of designers at our favorite department store this summer - and we can't wait to get our hands on them!

Entering through a magical, foliage-filled secret garden, giant keys, wrought iron benches and fountains set the scene for a catwalk show filled with wonder. Looks from Mary Katrantzou, Chloé, Kenzo and Isabel Marant were showcased on the runway set in the round and verdant arena; circling a gnome and Wellington boot-laden garden fountain. A sense of whimsy abounded, with models’ hair spun into candyfloss-like beehives and plaits.

The show ended with a party. The DJ, standing on a grass-covered stage, spun tunes by Kiesza while canapés and bubbles were passed around. Attention to detail and a beautiful crowd; now that’s our kind of evening.
