Majid Al Futtaim, the leading shopping mall, retail and leisure pioneer across the Middle East and North Africa, announced an early start of its Dubai Summer Surprises celebrations, in partnership with Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE). From the first day of Eid Al Fitr until September 5, 2015 across City Centre Deira, City Centre Mirdif and Mall of the Emirates, visitors will enjoy spectacular entertainment and get a chance to win amazing prizes this summer.

For the first time in the Middle East, Majid Al Futtaim is bringing world-famous Looney Tunes characters to life. Starting on the first day of Eid Al Fitr, the three shopping malls will run a series of activities from live stage shows, Meet & Greet opportunities with the characters to kids’ workshops. 

Dubai Summer Surprises deals will surely catch everyone’s attention as the retail stores at the shopping malls will offer amazing discounts and exciting deals.

Shoppers who spend AED 300 at any store within Mall of the Emirates will get a chance to enter a raffle draw to win the trip of a lifetime:  an exclusive trip around the world with first class tickets and five-star hotel accommodations in London, New York, Cape Town, Shanghai, Sydney and Rio de Janeiro.

The Amazing Daffy Duck & TAZ show

A 20-minute interactive Looney Tunes stage show featuring Daffy Duck, TAZ and friends exclusively at Mall of the Emirates.  This will follow an exclusive Meet & Greet with the characters and arts & crafts workshop for kids. Three shows x 20 minutes per day.

Night Time Capers show

Exclusively at City Centre Mirdif, Sylvester and Tweety Bird will entertain the young ones and the young-at-heart with a humouristic 25-minute live stage show, followed by a Meet & Greet session with the characters.

Tweety & Sylvester’s kids workshop

Enter Tweety’s cage for fun this summer to watch classic cartoons, hone artistic skills by making a birdcage and Sylvester’s mask, and be rewarded with an instant prize.  Available for all ages during mall hours, seven days a week.

Wun Wabbbit Wun show

Little ones will enjoy a 25-minute live show featuring Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck, followed by an exclusive Meet & Greet.  Three daily shows will be presented.

Bugs Bunny Zone

A fun-filled kids’ workshop, where children can watch Bugs Bunny cartoons, make Bugs Bunny ears and carrot mobile, show artistic skills in coloring, and be rewarded with an instant prizes.  Available for all ages during mall hours, seven days a week.
