Join us at Eat the World DXB, an exciting food and music festival where high-quality, authentic food is the star of the show. Enjoy the dishes on offer by 15 international street food traders, including food trucks from as far reaching as London as well as a selection of tasty fare from local businesses.
Grab a spot at the Chef demo theatre where both international and local talent will host entertaining and educational demonstrations throughout the festival. The lineup of international chefs includes Andy Bates from Food Network, John Quilter from Jamie Oliver’s Food Tube and London LIVE and Eric Lanlard, author of numerous pastry cookbooks. Local chef demonstrations will be hosted by celebrity chef Suzanne Husseini and Izu Ani, head chef of La Serre.
More foodie fun will include a curated market featuring artisan food and drinks from the UAE and abroad. An array of pasta, cheeses, artisan breads, oils, sauces, condiments, grains, pulses and cured meats will be on offer for sample and purchase. For the gadget-savvy, browse the collection of high-quality utensils, knives, cookware, electrical products and bake ware.
Other great features of Eat the World DXB include a traditional tea serving, a cake decorating competition, plenty of activities to keep the kids entertained and a relaxation zone with a Bedouin tent complete with Arabic coffee, falcons and henna. Likewise, art installations and musical performances will pepper your food-filled festival schedule during the weekend.
Eat the World DXB will be held 25-27 February 2016 at Burj Park, Downtown Dubai. Day sessions will be held from 12-5pm and evening sessions from 6-11pm.
