Fashion Forward Dubai (8 season)

Fashion Forward Dubai (FFWD), the region's progressive fashion platform, endorsed by Dubai Design and Fashion Council (DDFC) and with Dubai Design District (d3) as Strategic Partner, announced yesterday its full program for the Spring / Summer 2017 edition in its eighth season.

Being one of the highly anticipated events in the region's fashion calendar and following Dubai’s national mandate to become a hub for creativity, FFWD is set to showcase, during four days, 31 regional ready-to-wear and couture designers, from all across the Middle East, North Africa and a handful of CIS countries, as well as 14 accessory labels.

FFWD has also taken another strategic step with new talent collaborations making their debut at the fashion platform for the first time during this season.

FFWD's aim is to strengthen the regional ecosystem of emerging fashion talent, provide a viable platform for regional and international visibility and extend support to designers and d3 creative partners via EPIC x SAMSUNG program and initiatives throughout the year.

d3 Fashion Talks will be themed “back to basics” and aimed to give designers access to invaluable advice from international and regional industry professionals. From Sourcing to Funding and Trend Forecasting, the Talks will offer practical information to propel industry development, despite the current challenging retail climate.

International buyers from leading department and concept stores will also be part of the event.

The showcase will take place from October 20th till 23rd 2016 at the Hai Dubai Design District.
