The St. Regis Dubai celebrates success at World Travel Awards

The St. Regis Dubai has won two accolades at this year’s World Travel Awards Middle East Gala Ceremony held in Dubai.

At the red-carpet affair, The St Regis Dubai was named “Middle East’s Leading New Hotel 2016” and “Dubai’s Leading Hotel Suite 2016” in recognition of the hotel’s signature suite, Sir Winston Churchill Suite.

More than 400 leaders and decision makers from the hospitality and travel industry attended the gala ceremony, which took place at The St. Regis Dubai. Spread across 913 square metres, the impressive three-bedroom suite is the largest of the hotel’s 52 luxurious suites and even bigger than its 800-square-metre Astor Ballroom. Designed to meet the discerning eye of Sir Winston Churchill, the suite houses a collection of 15 paintings and art pieces from the Churchill archives, special courtesy of the Churchill Heritage Ltd. This includes portraits and photographs of the legendary statesman alongside paintings by Sir Winston Churchill himself.

Located on the top floors of The St. Regis Dubai, the pièce de résistance in the two-storey suite is a majestic in-room spiral staircase that leads into the central dome of the hotel, where a rooftop plunge pool and spacious majlis reveal panoramic views of the landscaped gardens and surrounds. The three-bedroom suite features a master bedroom connected to a generously sized bathroom with an exquisite free-standing bathtub in the centre and adjoining separate male and female walk-in dressing rooms.
