‘King of the Jewellers and Jeweller to Kings’ Cartier showcased its stunning new Cactus de Cartier collection at the 12th Cartier International Dubai Polo Challenge recently where a gorgeous necklace from the collection adorned its charming ambassador Alessandra Ambrosio.
The Cactus de Cartier is a new bloom that blossoms in the Parisian Maison’s vast garden and one that is beautiful yet untouchable.
Described by Cartier as ‘rebellious and resistant, tempting and haunting’ the Cactus de Cartier’s jewels capture the nature of desert flowers to blossom at night and close their petals during daytime.
The boldest pieces among them, dedicated to the cactus bloom at night feature emeralds, chrysoprase and carnelian beads on yellow gold settings such as this superb statement bracelet. Notice the brilliant manner in which the succulent aspect of these desert blooms are portrayed by this famed jeweller.
Other pieces are dedicated to the cactus bloom during the daytime featuring highly polished golden orbs set with five-petal diamond flowers and tiny emerald beads.
Offering a uniquely tactile experience are Cactus de Cartier’s dramatic yellow gold cuffs and cocktail rings, crowned by pretty lapis lazuli blooms and sparkling with diamond brilliants such as this piece.
The Cactus de Cartier collection also has eye-catching gold and diamond combinations featuring swirls and topped by a five-petal bloom offering plump, drop earrings, pendants and rings.
