The Ritz-Carlton, DIFC opens the door to a sparkling Festive Season

This December The Ritz-Carlton, Dubai International Financial Centre is embracing the spirit of the festive season with a host of spectacular celebrations and culinary experiences.

On December 1, the luxury Dubai hotel will unveil a beautifully crafted life-sized advent calendar as it begins the official countdown to Christmas Day. Inspired by the European custom where families light a candle or mark a ‘door’ on a special calendar in anticipation of the occasion, every day will present added festive cheer with special promotions and limited edition experiences hiding behind each door. Adding to a sense of nostalgia and Christmas cheer, the hotel will celebrate its annual tree lighting ceremony on December 6, when a special performance by the hotel’s choir and an appearance by Santa Claus himself will mark the traditional switching on of the festive lights. Guests arriving in the hotel lobby will be welcomed by an impressive Christmas tree elegantly dressed in a shimmering white and gold colour scheme with iridescent baubles, while a second tree with a contemporary blue and white theme takes centre stage on the Podium Level.

The seasonal merriment continues throughout the month with an array of extraordinary holiday offerings, culminating in a series of delightfully festive brunches over the Christmas weekend. On December 23, Café Belge celebrates the last Friday before Christmas in grand style with a festive twist on its classic Belgian cuisine*, followed by a magical new brunch experience on December 25 and 26, when Café Belge and Sunken Garden will be transformed into an elegant winter wonderland**.
