Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed receives Valentina Matviyenko

They discuss bilateral cooperation and issues of mutual concern

His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, on Tuesday received Valentina Matviyenko, Chairwoman of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, at Al Bahr Place.

Shaikh Mohammad welcomed Matviyenko and her delegation to the UAE.

During the meeting, Shaikh Mohammad and Matviyenko discussed bilateral cooperation and ways to boost this in the best interests of both nations.

They also reviewed a number of issues of mutual concern in the parliamentary field, especially with regard to developing coordination and cooperation in political, economic and humanitarian issues.

The meeting also touched on the latest regional and international developments of mutual concern.

Attending the meeting were Shaikh Nahyan Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation, and Lt Gen Shaikh Saif Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, Shaikh Khalid Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Chairman of the Board of Zayed Higher Organisation for Humanitarian Care and Special Needs, Shaikh Nahyan Bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Culture and Knowledge Development, and Shaikh Hamdan Bin Mubarak.
