TAMANI Marina Hotel & Hotel Apartment in Dubai has donated a significant portion of the proceeds from the Iftar buffet during the Holy Month of Ramadan to UAE Red Crescent to assist in its humanitarian works domestically and internationally.
General Manager Walid Al-Awa of TAMANI Marina Hotel & Hotel Apartment handed the cheque to Mohammed Abdullah Alhaj Al Zaroni, Emirates Red Crescent Manager – Dubai Branch at the Red Crescent Office who in turn presented the token of appreciation to Al Awa for the donation.
The iftar buffet was held at Café Society, the hotel’s stylish restaurant where guests and residents indulged in a rich buffet of delicious cuisine during the whole month of Ramadan. The property had pledged to donate 10% of the proceeds from the Iftars to UAE Red Crescent.
“Ramadan is synonymous with the spirit of giving so this is a great chance to give back and help those in need. By donating a portion of our earnings from the Iftar during Ramadan, we hope to be able to assist the UAE Red Crescent in helping orphans and underprivileged families inside the country and abroad. TAMANI Hotel is committed to working with different charity organisations to promote a positive change in our community. Partnering with UAE Red Crescent reconfirms the corporate social responsibility of TAMANI Hotel,” commented Al-Awa.
The Ramadan initiative is part of TAMANI Cares program, with a mission to contribute to alleviating the suffering of families and individuals here and abroad.
TAMANI constantly works on organizing special activities for children throughout the year, particularly with orphans and people with determination, as well as taking part in a lot of local initiatives involving education, environment, and health.
