Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry has announced that world-renowned motivational speaker, author and customer service expert Ron Kaufman will headline the closing ceremony for the 9th cycle of the Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum (MRM) Business Award and the 1st edition of the MRM Business Innovation Award.
During the ceremony, Kaufman will share his insights and global best practices on performance and quality, specifically in the area of customer service and building service cultures. In addition, he will highlight strategies and models that businesses can adopt to upgrade their customer service and boost competitiveness.
Rated one of the “Top 25 Who’s Hot” speakers by Speaker Magazine, Kaufman comes with more than 20 years of international experience. His energetic speeches and workshops have inspired millions, while his unique approaches to learning and leadership have been featured in the New York Times, Wall Street Journal and USA Today.
He has also authored 15 books on business and customer service, including New York Times and USA Today bestseller “Uplifting Service! The Proven Path to Delighting Your Customers, Colleagues and Everyone Else You Meet.”
The high-profile ceremony, set to be held on February 21st, 2017 at Madinat Jumeirah Arena, will recognise outstanding businesses in the GCC region that have contributed positively to their respective economies. The event will be attended by dignitaries, distinguished local and international top executives and business leaders.
A member of the Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives, the MRM Business Award was initiated in 2005 to recognise and celebrate the success of organisations that contribute to the sustainable economic development of the UAE and the wider GCC region.
The MRM Business Innovation Award, launched by Dubai Chamber in cooperation with the UAE Ministry of Economy, aims to encourage companies across the GCC to embrace innovation and support the development of a knowledge-based economy. The award places a strategic focus on transforming business models to meet current and future challenges and manage risks.
The MRM Business Award and the MRM Business Innovation Award are considered as the highest level of recognition for attaining business excellence.
