Russian Round Table – Cultural Event at Synergy University Dubai Campus

Synergy University Dubai Campus hosted a Russian Round Table Cultural Event, organized by the Russian Compatriot Organization in the UAE.

The main theme of the event was “Russian language tutorials: significance of literary traditions, trends and modernity. Among the distinguished guests were H.E. Mr. Alexander Efimov, Ambassador of the Russian Federation in the UAE; H.E. Mr Gocha Buachidze, Consul General of Russia in Dubai and Northern Emirates; Father Alexander of Saint Philip the Apostle Russian Orthodox Church in Sharjah; Dr Igor Egorov, Founder and Chairman of Russian Business Council in the UAE. 

The event was attended by 50 guests from the Russian community in the UAE who came to discuss challenges of learning the Russian language in the Arab World. Guests were welcomed according to the Russian traditions by true Russian lady with bread and salt.

The event also included presentations by guests including Synergy University students; an art exhibition by Mrs. Olga Smirnova; theatric performance and a wonderful children’s poetry performance from Unique Dance Studio.
