Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi sends condolences to Russian President over death of Russian envoy

WAM -- His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, has sent a cable of condolences to Russian President Vladimir Putin on the sad demise of Vitaly Churkin, Russia's Permanent Representative to the United Nations.

Sheikh Mohamed praised Churkin, calling him a seasoned diplomat whose presence was strongly felt in the deliberations conducted by the Security Council. He also offered his condolences to Churkin's family.
