Today, November 26, a press conference was held ahead of the upcoming concerts by Vladimir Spivakov and the Russian National Philharmonic Orchestra in Dubai. The meeting with journalists took place in the elegant setting of the terrace of Belcanto restaurant at Dubai Opera and brought together representatives of leading cultural and business media outlets.
The press conference was attended by Vladimir Spivakov, Artistic Director and Principal Conductor of the Russian National Philharmonic Orchestra, as well as the soloists of the concerts—pianist Adam Gutseriev and cellist Dali Gutseriyeva. The musicians spoke about the forthcoming program, the specifics of working with the orchestra, and their relationship with Dubai audiences.

Vladimir Spivakov noted that returning to Dubai is always a special occasion for him. According to the maestro, Dubai Opera is one of the most impressive modern concert venues, and interest in classical music in the region continues to grow steadily. He emphasized that the programs of the two evenings are conceived as a dialogue between different musical eras and characters—from the lyricism of Grieg and the dramatic depth of Tchaikovsky to the expressive Carmen Suite by Bizet–Shchedrin.

Adam Gutseriev spoke about his work on Grieg’s Piano Concerto, which he will perform during the concerts, noting that presenting this masterpiece with the Russian National Philharmonic Orchestra under the direction of Vladimir Spivakov is both a great creative responsibility and a source of inspiration. He also shared warm memories of his previous performances in Dubai and highlighted the high level and attentiveness of the local audience.

The press conference was held in a warm and relaxed atmosphere. Guests had the opportunity to ask questions of the artists and discuss the importance of cultural projects of this scale for the development of international musical dialogue. The upcoming concerts on November 27 and 28 are already being described as one of the key cultural events of the season in Dubai, generating strong interest among both residents and visitors to the city.
