MiMi Mei Fair Dubai ushers in the Lunar New Year with a refined celebration inspired by the Year of the Fire Horse, a symbol of strength, movement, and forward momentum. Guided by the dynamic energy of the zodiac Horse and the fire element, the narrative embraces vitality, warmth, and renewal, setting the tone for a Lunar New Year defined by confidence and purpose.
At the heart of the celebration is MiMi Mei Fair’s signature wishing tree installation, reimagined as a poetic expression of rhythm and harmony.
Conceived as a living composition of colour, the installation evokes direction, energy, and continuity. Positioned at the entrance of the restaurant, the wishing tree invites guests to pause, set intentions, and welcome the new year in a meaningful and reflective way.
Guests are invited to experience a specially curated four-course Chinese New Year set menu designed for sharing. Celebrating togetherness and abundance, the menu honours Lunar New Year dining traditions while embracing MiMi Mei Fair’s signature contemporary elegance. The experience begins with starters including the Dim Sum ‘Basket of Wealth’, featuring prawn and coriander, truffle edamame, and chicken and chives, alongside Rock Oysters dressed with spring onion, red chilli, Sichuan sauce, and ocean roe, and Steamed XO Okra with shallot and enoki mushroom crumble.
The signature course follows with Wok-Baked Lobster served in a superior broth with baby pak choi, before moving into mains such as Smoked Chilean Seabass in black bean sauce, Sweet and Sour Chicken with bell pepper and pineapple, and a Braised Truffled Mushroom trio of shimeji, shiitake, and eryngii, served with stir-fried green beans and Hakka noodles.
The menu concludes with Baiju Ba Ba infused with kumquat and green cardamom, offering a refined and aromatic finish to the meal. The four-course sharing experience is priced at AED 478 per person, with an optional wine pairing available at AED 248.
