Dubai’s dynamic culinary scene welcomes a new addition with the opening of Siena Restaurant Dubai, which officially launched on April 7, 2026, in Gate Village 7 at the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC). The concept brings together Mehdi Abdelhedi, founder of Siena in Paris, and Rizwan Kassim, CEO of Paris Society, who joins as a partner for the Dubai venture.
Positioned as a refined yet welcoming lifestyle destination, Siena arrives in the UAE as a continuation of a concept first introduced in Paris in May 2023. Its Dubai chapter reflects a deliberate expansion strategy, blending European sensibility with the city’s cosmopolitan energy.
“In a time that calls for a more considered pace, the opening of Siena is approached with intention, rooted in the simple value of bringing people together,” said Kassim. “Dubai demonstrates strength and stability as a global hub, and introducing Siena here is a natural step — one that contributes to the city’s evolving culinary landscape while supporting the UAE’s long-term vision.”
A Parisian Concept with Tuscan Soul
Located in the heart of Dubai International Financial Centre, Siena integrates seamlessly into one of the city’s most prominent dining districts. The concept combines Parisian elegance with the timeless charm of Tuscany, offering a setting defined by warmth, continuity, and understated sophistication.
For Abdelhedi, the Dubai opening represents both expansion and evolution. “Siena is a continuation of a family vision shaped by generational savoir-faire,” he said. “Bringing it to Dubai allows us to introduce its identity to a new audience, while reinterpreting the concept in a way that reflects the energy of the city.”
A Menu Inspired by Italy
At its core, Siena is a celebration of Italian cuisine, with a menu built around seasonal ingredients sourced from small producers. Signature dishes include linguine all’astice, focaccina all’astice, pizzetta al salmone e caviale, carpaccio di manzo, Siena rigatoni, and the classic tiramisu.
Designed to cater to a variety of occasions from business lunches to late-night gatherings — the venue also features a terrace offering a retreat within DIFC’s urban setting.
A Glamorous Tuscan-Inspired Interior
The restaurant’s design draws heavily on Tuscan influences, combining Italian frescoes, sculpted moldings, marble tabletops, and bespoke chandeliers to create a refined, immersive environment. The interiors, reimagined for Dubai by architect Laleh Amir Assefi, maintain the signature identity of Siena Paris while introducing a contemporary interpretation suited to the local market.
La Dolce Vita, Reimagined
Siena positions itself not just as a restaurant, but as a full lifestyle experience inspired by la dolce vita. From relaxed evening dining to high-energy late-night ambiance, the venue transitions seamlessly throughout the night.
