Watches and Wonders Geneva 2026 officially opens today, April 14, welcoming the global watchmaking community to what is set to be the largest edition of the event to date.

Held at the Palexpo exhibition centre, this year’s showcase brings together around 66 exhibiting brands, highlighting both heritage maisons and a growing number of independent watchmakers.

Industry giants such as Rolex, Patek Philippe, Cartier, IWC Schaffhausen, TAG Heuer, Jaeger-LeCoultre, and Vacheron Constantin headline the event, presenting their latest innovations and flagship releases. These established names are joined by leading luxury houses including Chanel, Hermès, Bulgari, and Chopard, reflecting the continued intersection of watchmaking, fashion, and high jewelry.

A key highlight of the 2026 edition is the return of Audemars Piguet, one of the most prestigious Swiss watchmakers, which has rejoined the exhibition after several years away—marking a significant moment for the industry.

The fair also welcomes 11 new brands, underlining its expanding scope and diversity. These include Behrens, Bianchet, B.R.M Chronographes, Charles Girardier, Corum, Credor, Favre Leuba, L’Epée 1839, March LA.B, and Sinn Spezialuhren. Their participation reflects a broader trend toward innovation and the inclusion of independent and niche watchmakers alongside established leaders.

Overall, the exhibition spans a wide spectrum of the industry from historic maisons like A. Lange & Söhne and Baume & Mercier to avant-garde creators such as HYT, Ressence, and Trilobe. This mix underscores the event’s role as a platform where tradition meets cutting-edge engineering and design.

Beyond brand participation, Watches and Wonders Geneva continues to expand its footprint across the city, with a growing programme of public events, exhibitions, and interactive experiences aimed at engaging a wider audience.

The event will run until April 20, with the first days reserved for industry professionals, followed by public access later in the week.
