Ahmed Seddiqi, the region’s leading luxury watch and jewellery retailer, hosted its annual Novelties 2026 event in the UAE, bringing together an impressive selection of the latest timepieces and jewellery creations from more than 50 of the world’s most prestigious brands.

Collectors, invited guests, and media representatives were given an exclusive first look at models set to enter the market in the near future. The exhibition highlighted exceptional craftsmanship, creative vision, and emerging artistic directions shaping contemporary watchmaking and jewellery design. The showcased collections are available at Ahmed Seddiqi boutiques across the UAE and Saudi Arabia.

Among the participating brands were Ulysse Nardin, Gerald Charles, Louis Erard, NORQAIN, DOXA, Vyntage Horology, TUDOR, H. Moser & Cie., Bell & Ross, Marco Bicego, and Palmiero.

Ulysse Nardin, Super Freak

To mark the 180th anniversary of the manufacture and the 25th anniversary of its iconic Freak collection, Ulysse Nardin unveiled the Super Freak – the most technologically advanced timepiece with time display the brand has ever created.

Four years in development, the watch combines a double flying carousel tourbillon, the patented Grinder automatic winding system, and the world's smallest gimbal mechanism. Almost every component of the movement remains in constant motion, transforming the calibre into a captivating kinetic spectacle.

For the first time in the history of the Freak collection, the Super Freak also features a running seconds display – another technical milestone that further cements its status as one of the most daring and innovative creations in contemporary haute horlogerie.

DOXA, SUB 200 II

DOXA introduced the SUB 200 II, an updated version of its iconic diving watch collection. For the first time, the model features fumé gradient dials, adding depth and character to the design while preserving the collection’s signature legibility and functionality.

Available in five dial colours, the collection also features a slimmer case, a Milanese bracelet, and a textured rubber strap inspired by vintage dive watches. Combining retro aesthetics with everyday versatility, the SUB 200 II preserves DOXA’s distinctive identity within the luxury sports watch segment.

Bell & Ross, BR-03 Diver Black Bronze

With the BR-03 Diver Black Bronze, Bell & Ross revisits the aesthetics of classic professional diving watches through the brand’s signature minimalist design language. The warm tone of the bronze case contrasts with the matte black dial and refined finishing details, creating a balance between vintage inspiration and contemporary style.

Moving away from the bolder colour experiments of previous models, the brand focuses on understated elegance and versatility. The BR-03 Diver Black Bronze continues Bell & Ross’s tradition of creating professional instrument watches with a distinctive aviation-inspired character.

Frederique Constant, Classic Worldtimer Manufacture

Frederique Constant presented the new generation of its Classic Worldtimer Manufacture, first introduced in 2012 and now considered one of the brand’s key complication models.

The updated version is equipped with the new in-house FC-719 calibre, offering an extended 72-hour power reserve, a 40 mm case, clean dials without date indication, and a newly integrated bracelet. The collection also includes a limited edition featuring precious decoration, produced in a run of only 88 pieces.

Fully developed and assembled in the brand’s Geneva workshops, the timepiece reflects Frederique Constant’s commitment to combining Swiss haute horlogerie with accessibility and technical innovation.

Girard-Perregaux, Minute Repeater Flying Bridges

Girard-Perregaux introduced the Minute Repeater Flying Bridges, powered by the new in-house GP9530 calibre. The movement combines a minute repeater, a flying tourbillon, and an automatic winding system.

The assembly and finishing of its 475 components required nearly 440 hours of work. The openworked architecture enhances the signature Flying Bridges design while also improving the acoustic performance of the repeater mechanism.

Entirely developed within the manufacture, the model reflects Girard-Perregaux’s long-standing expertise in haute horlogerie and continues the brand’s historic connection with minute repeaters, dating back to the 19th century.

Bovet, Recital 12 Green

Bovet expanded its Recital collection with the Recital 12 Green, distinguished by a rich green guilloché dial and a contemporary interpretation of classic design.

The watch is housed in the brand’s signature inclined “writing desk” case, combining traditional watchmaking expertise with modern ergonomics and providing enhanced readability on the wrist. The hand-finished movement demonstrates exceptional decorative craftsmanship, while the minimalist display highlights the symmetry and visual balance of the composition.

The deep green shade gives the new model a fresh and modern character while preserving Bovet’s recognisable aesthetic, built on the fusion of artistic expression and high watchmaking.

Palmiero – Cleopatra

Palmiero presented Cleopatra, a jewellery watch featuring a sculptural design built around flowing gold lines and the luminous beauty of mother-of-pearl.

The centrepiece of the composition is a rigid gold bracelet that appears to form a continuous line around the dial, highlighting proportions, balance, and exceptional craftsmanship. Diamonds add brilliance without overwhelming the design, while the iridescent surface of the mother-of-pearl changes with the light and movement.

Elegant and contemporary, the model reflects Palmiero’s distinctive approach, where jewellery artistry and watchmaking expertise merge into a single artistic creation.

Vyntage Horology — Monograph Atoll & Purity Sports Classic

Vyntage Horology introduced two contrasting 2026 novelties: the Monograph Atoll and the Purity Sports Classic.

The Monograph Atoll features a 904L stainless steel case and a translucent turquoise sapphire dial inspired by marine landscapes. It is powered by a Swiss hand-wound monopusher chronograph movement, combining vintage mechanical traditions with contemporary materials and refined details.

The ultra-light Purity Sports Classic offers a more athletic character with its aluminium case and dial. The model is released as a worldwide limited edition of only 25 pieces.

Gerald Charles, Mini Maestro

Gerald Charles opened a new chapter in its history with the launch of the Mini Maestro, the brand’s first dedicated women’s collection. The inspiration came from a unique 2006 creation by Gérald Genta, now preserved in the Geneva Museum.

Reinterpreting the signature Maestro silhouette in a compact 30 mm format, the brand introduced the model in black, blue, and pink variations. The Mini Maestro was conceived as a universal expression of elegance beyond traditional gender boundaries, combining refined proportions with practical features.

These include water resistance up to 50 metres and a brand-developed quick strap-change system.
