All set for World Arabian Horse Racing Conference

After the inaugural three-day conference in Abu Dhabi in 2010, the WAHRC has been held in The Hague in The Netherlands in 2011, Berlin in Germany in 2012, Toulouse in France in 2013, London in the United Kingdom in 2014 and the Sixth edition will kick off in Warsaw, Poland from Thursday, May 28, 2015.

 Dubai: One of the most important events in a packed calendar of the HH Shaikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan Global Arabian Horse Flat Racing Festival is the annual World Arabian Horse Racing Conference (WAHRC) during which many aspects of Purebred Arabian racing comes under the scanner, a Press release said.

After the inaugural three-day conference in Abu Dhabi in 2010, the WAHRC has been held in The Hague in The Netherlands in 2011, Berlin in Germany in 2012, Toulouse in France in 2013, London in the United Kingdom in 2014 and the Sixth edition kicked off in Warsaw, Poland from Thursday, May 28, 2015.

Over 400 delegates representing 80 countries will take part in the Warsaw WAHRC and Shaikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs said in his welcome message to the delegates: “The UAE has always been in the forefront of promoting the Purebred Arabian horse.

“The aim has always been to enhance the status of the Purebred Arabian horse and this is precisely what the Festival has been striving to achieve since 2009.”

“The Arabian racing family is spread all over the globe and hence there are innumerable hurdles faced by the respective national organisations in finding a common ground.
