Arabian Adventures unveils host of exciting new experiences for 2016/17!

From star gazing to camel trekking, the new 2016/17 tours, safaris and attractions from Arabian Adventures offers a host of new experiences for both visitors and residents of the UAE. The region's leading Destination Management Company (DMC), Arabian Adventures has designed a variety of excursions in response to the innovative experiences customers are looking for.

Highlights of the new ‘Adventure for All’ brochure include the Night Safari, Camel Trekking and the exclusive Self- Drive 4x4 experience.

Night Safari in Dubai

Discover desert wildlife at night on this off-road drive through the Dubai Desert Conservation Reserve, equipped with a spot light and night vision binoculars. Stop to look for scorpions with a black light before stargazing with hot chocolate. The Night Safari experience includes:

• A night-time nature drive through the Dubai Desert Conservation Reserve
• Your guide pointing out and discussing the animals sighted
• Stopping to look for scorpions with a black light – the black light causes the exoskeleton of a scorpion to glow which is captivating
• Ending the night safari with hot chocolate served as you stargaze through the telescope at the desert night sky
• Starting from AED 260 per person
• Duration: Half day, night

Camel Trekking in Dubai

Experience the desert in the best possible light on a morning camel ride through the Dubai Desert Conservation Reserve. Take to the trail on the ‘ship of the desert’ – the dromedary camel - to see the desert flora and fauna. Stop for a picnic breakfast at a lake, with a glass of bubbly. The Camel Trekking experience includes:

•A trail-style, guided camel ride in the morning through the Dubai Desert Conservation Reserve

•Learning about the remarkable dromedary camel and desert wildlife

•Stopping for a picnic breakfast on the shores of a lake, with a glass of bubbly

Self-Drive 4x4 Safaris

Get involved with this self-drive safari experience. Take the wheel on this fully guided four-wheel drive adventure. The Self-drive 4x4 experience includes:

•Following a lead car to explore the desert in Dubai or Abu Dhabi

•Enjoying the adventure of this exciting 4x4 drive

•A safety and technical briefing , given before the drive

•Leaving the city and highways behind

•Starting from AED 1,600 per person

•Duration: A variety of durations and departures from 2-12 hours are available

A percentage of fees charged for most of these experiences are proudly contributed towards supporting desert life conservation, with the Camel Trekking and Night Safari taking place in the Dubai Desert Conservation Reserve.
