Private sector employees in the UAE will have their working days reduced by two hours during the holy month.
The announcement was made via a statement issued by Nasser Al Hamli, Minister of Human Resources and Emiratisation and in accordance with Article 65 of Federal Law No 8 of 1980.
Working hours for the public sector, which were announced on Sunday, will be from 9am to 2pm throughout Ramdan.

Thirty-two people were injured when two minibuses collided in Abu Dhabi.
The driver of one of the vehicles ran a red light and smashed into the other at 4.35pm on Sunday, police said.
The accident happened close to the Pepsi and Coca Cola factories near the Embassies District, officers said.

Paid parking timings in Abu Dhabi will be changed for the duration of Ramadan, the Department of Transport announced on Sunday.
Drivers can park for free around mosques during taraweeh prayers, and paid parking times will be split into two periods – from 9am to 2pm, and 9pm to 2.30am.
On Thursdays, the second period runs from 9pm until midnight. Parking will be free from 12.01am on Fridays until 8.59am on Saturdays.
