WAM -- The Official Emblem of the FIFA Club World Cup UAE 2017 was unveiled on Tuesday in Abu Dhabi, the United Arab Emirates capital and Host City for the tournament. The event marks an important milestone in the journey towards the start of the 14th edition of the FIFA Club World Cup, which runs from 6th to 16th December.

Every single day, 14,000 eateries across Dubai discard roughly 80,000 gallons (302,832 litres) of cooking fats, oil and grease from some of our most favourite kitchens, enough to fill 1,600 average-sized bathtubs, accordingly to Gulfnews.

Over 16,000 drivers in Dubai fined in 3 months for using phone

Dubai: More than 16,000 motorists were fined by Dubai Police for using phones while driving in the first three months this year.

Dubai Police fined motorists involved in 16,099 cases of using phones while driving. Last year, a total of 16,393 offences were registered during the same period. The total number of fines issued during 2016 stood at 60,364.

Arab countries produce 15.5 percent of world gas production

WAM -- The Arab region now produces 15.5 percent of the world gas production, an increase of 11.8 percent from the year 1980's levels, according to the Organisation of Arab Petroleum Exporting Countries, (OAPEC).
