Bulgari celebrated the premiere of its Festa High Jewellery Collection at the Bulgari Hotel Beijing. Nearly 200 one-of-a-kind jewels and high end watches have been specially created for this new collection that is an homage to both the legend of regal feasts and the essence of the Italian way of life. Among those in attendance were Bulgari Group CEO Jean-Christophe Babin, Bulgari Brand Ambassadors Lily Aldridge, Shu Qi and Kris Wu. Famous actress Kara Wai, many socialites and representatives from well-known media also came to witness the joy of Italian art de vivre epitomized by Bulgari.

Three ambassadors of Bulgari – Lily Aldridge, Shu Qi, and Kris Wu – gathered at the ceremony for the first time. Dressed up elegantly like princesses and a prince, they conveyed a sense of grace and articulated the importance that Bulgari has attached to the Chinese premiere of the Festa collection. Lily Aldridge accessorized her look with Bulgari's new High Jewelry Festa necklace, earrings and ring in platinum set with emeralds and diamonds. Shu Qi wore the new High Jewelry Festa necklace in platinum set with rubies, pearls and diamonds, matching with a pair of High Jewelry earrings and ring in white gold set with rubies and diamonds, and Serpenti Twist Your Time watch. Kris opted for a High Jewelry Serpenti necklace and a luxury version in platinum with diamonds of Octo Finissimo Tourbillon Skeleton watch, which won the Tourbillon & Escapement Prize in the prestigious Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève (GPHG-Geneva Watch Awards) 2017. Famous actress Kara Wai wore a High Jewelry Fiore necklace and ring paired with a High Jewelry Giardini Italiani bracelet in white gold with diamonds.

Guests were welcomed by a spectacular Festa High Jewellery show with models gracefully walking to joyful and romantic music, making the Italian brand's larger-than-life character come alive. To the delight of all, the Michelin three-star Chef Niko Romito from Rome made a special trip to Beijing to amaze guests with exquisite dishes. Through a sophisticated set of visual, auditory, and gustatory sensations, the Festa collection narrated the essence of the Italian way of life that balances glamour with indulgence, and enjoyment with exuberance.

The Bulgari codes and colours are present in the Festa collection, inspired by the sense of pure happiness of the Italian Festas. Bulgari has created a selection of happy jewels, which became a very simple pleasure and takes you back to the joy that children experience, with those happy memories associated with sweets, party cakes or presents. They bring back that incredible feeling of happiness that we all remember. Some of the jewels of the collection demonstrates Italians' happiness in the streets of a city with its valuable gemstones, exuberant colours, and unrivalled craftsmanship

Inspired by the Eternal City, the Festa collection reveres the way of life of the Roman aristocracy. Thanks to a perfect alliance of savoir faire between Bulgari's watchmakers and goldsmiths, ancient Greek and Roman coins find life again as precious Secret-Watch pendant in the Festa collection, depicting the glory and legend of regal festa. Designed to give joy and happiness to the women who wear them, the Festa collection features carefully selected rare and valuable gems, which shine softly and fluently with Bulgari's exclusive polishing process, as well as their bold and opulent colour tones, composing an ode to women who chose their own way and make their own destiny, and it is larger than life.

"The Festa High Jewellery epitomizes the sense of pure cheerfulness found in the Italian Festas," said Jean-Christophe Babin, CEO of Bulgari Group. "The brilliant jewels in the new collection are very much a part of the Italian art de vivre. This is the Bulgari attitude reflected through palatial joy and brazen authenticity."

"Designing this collection has been an absolute joy. It is all about fun… Choosing a theme like Festa has given me a lot of creativity," said Lucia Silverstri, Jewellery Creative Director at Bulgari. "The main inspiration of the Festa collection is happiness. This is something you can find everywhere in Italy, in the stories of each legendary woman, or even from the simple pleasures in ordinary life."

The Festa High Jewellery Collection has become an emblem of the combination of tradition and modernity, as well as an expression of passion and vitality, reflected its brazen Roman spirit, its extravagant use of colour and creativity that goes far beyond the usual limits. As an important force for promoting the essence of Italian culture, Bulgari pays a significant tribute to interpret an enthusiastic Italian culture and life aesthetics.
