Dubai Opera’s New Cultural Season opens with La Bohème

Dubai Opera proudly opens its 2025–2026 season with La Bohème, Puccini’s legendary tale of young artists, dreamers, and lovers navigating the bohemian lifestyle of 19th-century Paris. Presented by the world-renowned Hungarian State Opera, this production is a crown jewel of operatic history — timeless, romantic, and profoundly moving.

Set against the wintry streets of the Latin Quarter, La Bohème begins with a burnt-out candle and a misplaced key. From this modest beginning unfolds one of opera’s most beloved love stories — between the poet Rodolfo and the delicate seamstress Mimì — brought to life with heart-wrenching music and unforgettable arias.
