Gulf News -- Dubai Police joined residents and visitors in celebrating Eid Al Adha by organising a three-hour long sea parade and distributing Eid sweets.

The parade featured Dubai Police’s fleet of boats, including an X-Cat speedboat and jet skis, which cruised from 5pm to 8pm through Jumeirah Beach and the Dubai Water Canal and ending at Burj Al Arab, Jumeirah Beach Residence and Dubai Marina.

Lieutenant Colonel Ali Abdullah Al Naqbi, Head of Dubai Police’s Maritime Rescue Department said the event was organised on the instructions of Major General Abdullah Khalifa Al Merri, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police, who wanted Police to spread happiness among members of the community and visitors to marine tourist areas.
