The Giorgio Armani Neve AW 2022/23 was presented in St. Moritz on 10th of December with a show held at the space in front of the Olympia
Stadium, the historic and evocative setting for two editions of the Winter Olympic Games (1928 and 1948), located just minutes from the city. The distinctive design perfectly matches the brand's style, making the space a natural theatre for the show and amplifying the surrounding scenery thanks to the existing structure with wooden seats, an external façade of mirrored panels and metal details in light gold.
For the occasion, the boutique in Via Serlas, 22 – where the Neve collection is already available – presented a special set-up in line with the concept of the travelling structure, characterised by narrow vertical mirrored elements to reflect the surrounding environment and panorama.
The Giorgio Armani Neve event, organised in collaboration with the Swiss Tourist Board, was designed to minimise environmental impact, in line with the ISO 20121 standard. The Armani Group avoided single-use plastic and food waste, incentivised the reuse and recycling of materials, and encouraged recycling of waste generated during the event as well as the use of LED lighting. Suppliers were also required to comply with specific social and environmental clauses. The Armani Group will offset all event-related emissions through nature-based solutions and commits to continuing to reduce its environmental impact. The Armani Group has also decided to make a donation to “MortAlive”, a Swiss organisation that works for the long-term protection of glaciers all over the world.
