Jewels are the perfect expressions of mysterious sources of inspiration traversing time and space. Painstakingly crafted in the world’s most precious materials, they are timeless works of art to be treasured forever. We dazzle you with this New Year season with exotic creations designed by the world’s leading designers to celebrate life’s beautiful moments…

Legendary Spanish house’s Carrera y Carrera's new brand ambassador is the lovely Russian actress and director Renata Litvinova. She is featured here adorned in its High Jewellery Sol y Sombra collection blending 18k white gold and diamonds where light, energy and joy are reflected through the theme of the sun.

NECKLACES

Boucheron’s new Bleu de Jodhpur collection celebrates its bond with the city of Jodhpur. In 1905, the Maharaja of Kapurthala commissioned an aigrette-feather adornment for his turban; the Paisley design held in its centre a 22-carat briolette cut diamond. This motif is the origin for its Menhdi necklace with delicate openwork motifs accenting the ephemeral charm of henna or mehendi art.

Bulgari's extraordinary High Jewellery 18k pink gold Gardini Italiani necklace displays the Roman luxury brand’s signature style of bold and colourful jewellery where unusual hues and precious diamonds and gemstones such as coral and peridots in exceptional cuts come together.

A total of 75 carats of diamonds and two emeralds of 44.42 carats and 42.50 carats feature in this magnum opus creation by Cartier. The shape of the three rows of diamonds lead the eye to the intense green emeralds placed at strategic points on this platinum Cartier's High Jewellery Emerald and Diamond necklace

Chanel’s Couture necklace from the 1932 collection is inspired by Coco Chanel’s highly original designs for diamond jewellery. The delicacy of a bow comes to the fore in 18k white and pink gold settings neatly set with diamonds and an emerald cut pink sapphire in its heart. Just perfect to welcome the New Year!

Graff's amazing Carissa necklace is inspired by the Carissa plant’s delicate five-petal blooms which thrive in sunny climes. The collection features emeralds, diamonds, ruby as well as sapphires in pear-shaped and marquise-cut stones painstakingly hand-set.

EARRINGS

Carrera y Carrera’s sculpted artistry is showcased to grandeur in its amazing Origen earrings where 18k yellow gold settings dazzling with diamonds, ‘drip down’ to dangle their precious amethyst stones.

Chopard's Red Carpet 2015 earrings fature Paraiba and tanzanite openwork motifs within a ribbon of diamonds intricately traced to recall Mughal art of yore.

De Beers’ new Drops of Light collection earrings focus on the magical relationship between light and diamonds, emphasizing versatility Three pairs of earrings have detachable pear-cut diamond drops, so they can be easily transformed into ear studs.

Saturated with colour Marco Bicego's Murano 18k yellow gold earrings are set with intense purple amethysts showcasing the brand’s organic touch.

Cute and charming, Pandora's sterling silver drop earrings are pave set with cubic zirconia and Murano glass making them perfect for the boardroom or an evening event too.

BROOCHES

Faberge’s charming platinum Fox brooch is lavished with pave diamonds and portrays the emerald-eyed and ruby-nosed animal seated in a neat posture looking down at its precious merchandise – a cabochon aquamarine. Probably recalling a pet, it has a beautiful pink gold bow decked with pink sapphires tied around its neck from which dangles a pear-shaped diamond.

We feature a rare jewel from Harry Winston – an emerald and diamond brooch designed by Winston’s legendary designer Ambaji Shinde, with a storied history. Apparently, Mr. Winston offered the buyers, a prominent Texas oil-man and his wife, a choice between the 68.90 carat emerald featured in this jewel or a 69.42 carat pear-shaped diamond which was later acquired by Elizabeth Taylor and came to be subsequently known as the Taylor-Burton Diamond.

History credits the pearling house Mikimoto to have turned around Japan’s fortunes and set the nation on the path of progress. We feature its Plum Blossom brooch where pink gold settings recreate a plum tree stem with a delicate enamel bloom sparkling with a diamond in its heart, while Mikimoto’s cultured pearls play coy buds…

Tiffany & Co’s Blue Book butterfly brooch pays exquisite tribute to the delicacy of the insect and its fleeting existence in this jewel where a painstaking choice of luminous stones such as aquamarines, peridots, blue sapphires and pave diamonds come together in unusual cuts. But this is one butterfly that won’t fly away once you catch it…

Prima donna ballerinas have always been a huge source of inspiration for Van Cleef & Arpels and this amazing brooch is stunning proof of it. Fashioned from white gold and pink gold settings, it features round diamonds, round rubies in graded sizes and a pear-shaped diamond for that mysterious dancer’s face…

RING IT TRUE

Among the vibrant pieces in Piaget’s Secrets & Lights there are three cocktail rings celebrating Venice, each dedicated to a different part of the city. We present its eye-catching Palazzo ring featuring a pattern formed from crosshatching of spinel and diamonds, bringing to life the elegance of Venetian art.

Inspired by the art of haute couture, the new Soie Dior collection unfurls a magical array of jewels capturing movements of ribbons fashioned in precious gold, diamonds and gemstones. We select the beautiful white gold “Fronce Saphir rose” ring from this collection, dazzling with diamonds, pink sapphires and rubies.

Pasquale Bruni's charming 18K white gold Ghirlanda Iside ring showcases a light-colored chalcedony stone which plays protagonist, ringed by a circle of sparkling diamonds and milky quartz in pretty floral motifs. And it’s a truly engrossing piece for your finger you’ll agree.

Boucheron’s Aigle de Jodhpur ring showcases perfectly sculpted eagle motif profiles placed in opposite directions and which appear to be ‘guarding’ the precious blue cabochon sapphire between them. Dare to steal it we say!

Beauty with a hint of danger is recognized as Stephen Webster’s hallmark. And symbolizing this aspect fittingly is the brand’s eye-catching 18k rose gold ‘Murder She Wrote Poison Apple ring’ lavished with rubies and a sprinkling of white diamonds.
