Le Royal Méridien Abu Dhabi announces unique Ramadan offerings

Layali El Hilmiya, the traditional Ramadan tent, is returning and the award-winning Market Kitchen restaurant is serving up an Iftar tasting menu

Abu Dhabi 18 May: Le Royal Méridien Abu Dhabi will celebrate the Holy month of Ramadan at their traditional tent, Layali El Hilmiya’, and will also provide a special Iftar sharing menu at Market Kitchen.

With Maserati, one of the world’s most luxurious automotive brands, as the title sponsor, Layali El Hilmiya will offer the essence of Ramadan through a traditional atmosphere, a lavish Iftar buffet and a tastefully crafted Suhoor A La Carte menu with a variety of live stations and Arabian-themed live entertainment.

The air-conditioned tent will offer an array of hot and cold mezzes. Fateer and traditional saj are just some of the many delicacies on offer which will be prepared directly in front of the guests. Sweets cannot be missed either with season specialties such as achtaliyeh, kunafa and katayef; Ramadan juices and teas will complete the offerings. A variety of flavoured shisha will also be available to enjoy inside the tent, while a number of live entertainment options will set the mood, including games, large TVs screening popular Ramadan programs, a live Arabic band and more.

The Tent will be open daily from Iftar and will close by 3.00am.  

Market Kitchen, the award-winning modern American restaurant located at Le Royal Méridien Abu Dhabi, will also be offering an Iftar tasting experience every evening throughout the Holy month.  Following on from the recent success of the Suzanne Husseini brunch with an Arabic twist, an array of Market Kitchen favourites and a selection of Arabic dishes will be served in unlimited sharing portions.

A special A La Carte menu will also be available at Market Kitchen until the end of Ramadan.
