M Hotel Downtown by Millennium joins #Connect2Earth

M Hotel Downtown by Millennium, situated at the heart of Downtown Dubai, joined millions of people, businesses and landmarks around the globe that switched off lights for one hour last Saturday, 30^th March 2019, in celebration of Earth Hour.

As part of the hotel's commitment to the environment and sustainable business, hotel lights were switched off from 8:30pm to 9:30pm in areas such as the lobby, restaurant, external signboard and guest floor corridors.

Guests have also participated in the movement and gathered at the hotel lobby where they enjoyed canapés and refreshments served by the property.

“Climate change remains to be a vital issue for our planet, thus our participation in Earth Hour shows our serious commitment to protecting the Earth. We love this planet and we want the coming generations to enjoy it so we must work together and engage more people to take action in preserving our home,” said Cornelia Erdhart, General Manager of M Downtown Hotel by Millennium.
